Oyster Palma Regatta 2017

An awesome crew with Devon, Stuart Finnerty, Lucy Holloway, Craig & Gigi Barto, Tim Bebe, Brad Kelly.  We were in Class 2 with 5 other 575's and four 60 footers. Three bullets and a throw out 3rd.
Trophies each day and a first in Class perpetual for Class 2.

The "Rock"

Kevin, Brad, Stuart and I moved the boat on September 17th from Portimao, Portugal to Palma.  Along the way we stopped in Gibraltar to take on fuel and fix a coolant leak on the engine.  We saw 40 knots of wind leaving Gibraltar on our way to Cartagena.  We over-nighted in Cartagena where there was al Roman / Spanish festival honoring the many battles between the two.
On to Ibiza and the great cove at Portinaix.  We arrived in Palma on the September 23rd.

We are now home after spending the month of June traveling across the Bay of Biscay and the Atlantic coast of Portugal. It was an amazing trip with an equally amazing group of friends.  Thank you - Nick, Katie, Reese, Bryan, Amy, Rick, Stuart and Lucy
